- I’m a young public relations professional. Graduated from Drake University in 2009 with a BAJ in Public Relations, a marketing minor and a business studies concentration. My new job is with a nonprofit in Ames, Iowa called IRIS – Iowa Resource for International Service. I have a great interest in social media, and I just love to learn. I have OCD tendencies: my closet is color-coded, and there’s a level on the mirror in my living room. I am way more of a nerd than I let on: I love alphabetizing, and I read every issue of National Geographic when I was a kid. My career goal is to do PR for a environmental, scientific or historical organization/nonprofit.
